Classic Beef Tacos: A Delicious and Easy Recipe

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
    • Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute, until fragrant.
    • Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Season the Beef:
    • Stir in the taco seasoning mix and water. Mix well to coat the beef with the seasoning.
    • Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the beef is well-seasoned.
  3. Prepare the Tacos:
    • While the beef is simmering, heat the taco shells or tortillas according to package instructions.
    • Spoon the seasoned beef into each taco shell or tortilla.
  4. Add Toppings:
    • Top each taco with your favorite toppings, such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, and chopped cilantro.
  5. Serve:
